Ezine Food Specialisation Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) is located in the town of Ezine in Turkey’s Çanakkale Province and has been established to support industrial investment, particularly in the food and agricultural sectors. The zone is strategically positioned, lying 316 kilometres from both Istanbul and Izmir, 45 kilometres from Çanakkale Airport, and 50 kilometres from Çanakkale Port, making it highly accessible for transportation and logistics.
The Ezine OSB consists of a total of 91 industrial plots, most of which have been allocated to companies operating in food processing, dairy production, meat processing, and packaging sectors. Several well-known brands, including Dardanel, Troya Petfood, and Ezine Süt, have invested in the zone. Dardanel, for example, plans to move its production facilities from Kepez to Ezine OSB, although it has encountered some bureaucratic challenges during this process.
Infrastructure projects within the OSB include the installation of main electricity lines, production of hot asphalt, and the construction of drinking water networks. These developments aim to make the zone fully operational for industrial use and to meet the needs of investors.
The existing Ezine Industrial Site is scheduled to relocate to the Ezine Food Specialisation OSB by the end of 2025. This move is intended to provide businesses with modern, custom-built production units that will increase efficiency and productivity. Some administrative and bureaucratic challenges remain, and the relocation process is ongoing.
Overall, Ezine OSB is designed to boost the economic development of the region, enhancing both industrial capacity and employment opportunities. Investments in infrastructure and facilities are expected to invigorate Ezine’s industrial and commercial activity, although management issues and remaining infrastructure gaps may influence the pace of development.
The automotive sector in Ezine is also set to benefit from the development of the OSB. Currently, many small and medium-sized auto repair shops, spare parts suppliers, and vehicle service providers are scattered across the town, operating in older, cramped facilities. As part of the OSB project, these businesses are scheduled to relocate to custom-built units within the industrial zone by the end of 2025. These new units will offer modern infrastructure, better access for transport vehicles, and purpose-built spaces designed specifically for automotive services and manufacturing. The relocation is expected to improve operational efficiency, provide safer working conditions, and consolidate the auto sector in a central, well-organised area, contributing further to Ezine’s overall industrial growth.

Ezine OSB toplamda 91 sanayi parselinden oluşmakta olup, bu parsellerin çoğu gıda işleme, süt ürünleri üretimi, et işleme ve ambalaj sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren şirketlere tahsis edilmiştir. Mevcut Ezine Sanayi Sitesi’nin 2025 yılı sonuna kadar Ezine Gıda İhtisas OSB’ye taşınması planlanmaktadır. Bu taşınma, işletmelere modern ve özel olarak tasarlanmış üretim alanları sunarak verimlilik ve üretkenliği artırmayı hedeflemektedir. Süreçte bazı idari ve bürokratik engeller devam etmekte olup, taşınma işlemi halen sürmektedir.
Genel olarak, Ezine OSB, bölgenin ekonomik kalkınmasını desteklemeyi, sanayi kapasitesini ve istihdam fırsatlarını artırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Altyapı ve tesislere yapılan yatırımların, Ezine’nin sanayi ve ticaret hayatını canlandırması beklenmektedir; ancak yönetimsel sorunlar ve kalan altyapı eksiklikleri, gelişim hızını etkileyebilir.
Ezine’deki otomotiv sektörü de OSB’nin gelişiminden faydalanacak alanlardan biridir. Şu anda birçok küçük ve orta ölçekli oto tamirhanesi, yedek parça tedarikçisi ve araç servis sağlayıcısı, eski ve sıkışık alanlarda şehrin çeşitli noktalarına dağılmış durumdadır. OSB projesi kapsamında bu işletmelerin 2025 yılı sonuna kadar sanayi bölgesindeki özel olarak tasarlanmış birimlere taşınması planlanmaktadır. Yeni birimler, modern altyapı, taşıma araçları için daha iyi erişim ve otomotiv hizmetleri ve üretimi için özel olarak tasarlanmış alanlar sunacaktır. Bu taşınmanın operasyonel verimliliği artırması, daha güvenli çalışma koşulları sağlaması ve otomotiv sektörünü merkezi ve düzenli bir alanda bir araya getirerek Ezine’nin genel sanayi büyümesine katkıda bulunması beklenmektedir.
